Sankranthi BO: Tollywood off to a Rs 200 Cr start

The Tollywood box office has started off on a stellar note as the new Sankranthi releases have grossed over Rs 200 crores combinedly.

Both Sankranthi releases - Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya have grossed over Rs 100 crores each already.

“MEGA MASS BLOCKBUSTER continues its STORM at the Box office. 108+ CRORES Gross in 3 days & $ 1.7M+ in USA for #WaltairVeerayya “ Mythri Movie Makers tweeted.

“Blockbuster director @megopichand and our @MythriOfficial producers met and wished Natasimham #NandamuriBalakrishna on the VEERA MASS BLOCKBUSTER after his return from the Sankranthi celebrations” Mythri added about Veera Simha Reddy as they announced the film grossed over Rs 104 crores.

This would mean that the Sankranthi releases have gotten off Tollywood to a Rs 200 crore start at the box office. They could well go on to collect Rs 300 crores gross cumulatively in the full run.
