HCA clarifies on NTR’s absence

For the past few days, there’s been a big debate on social media about NTR’s absence at the HCA Awards. This even resulted in an ugly social media brawl.

Now, HCA itself had to clarify on the issue with their latest social media statement and that shows the degree of this ugly brawl on social media.

“Dear RRR fans & supporters,

We did invite N. T. Rama Rao Jr. to attend the #HCAFilmAwards but he is shooting a new film in India.

He will be receiving his awards from us shortly.

The Hollywood Critics Association” HCA’s Twitter handle posted a short while ago.

HCA went on to elaborate on the response NTR’s publicist had when asked about his availability for the event.

“He was originally shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend. His brother passing happened afterwards and is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us.” HCA tweeted.
