Megastar Chiranjeevi had been doing a handful of remakes for a long time now. He has remade films like Vedhalam, Lucifer, Khaidi 150 and others after making a comeback into acting.

Now, Chiranjeevi has decided to take another remake onto the floors and this will be a Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bro Daddy.

The Telugu remake of Bro Daddy will be directed by Kalyan Krishna who had been conceptualizing a film with Chiru for a long time now.

In the original, the story revolves around a father and son who experience pregnancy for their better halves at the same time. The core plot will be retained for the Telugu remake.

In Telugu, Chiru will be seen as an elder brother instead of a father. This is a cosmetic change to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience. 

Sharwanand will be seen in other important role while Trisha will be seen as Chiru's love interest in the film. The regular shooting will start soon and the project could be announced on Chiru's birthday - 22 August.
