Jagan finalizes list of candidates for AP elections

The ruling party of AP, YSRC is setting the stage for the coming elections which are under 9 months from now and the party has already started to finalize the list of candidates for the polls.

As per the latest updates, YSRC chief Jagan has finalized the list of candidates for he elections.

Jagan has reportedly finalized the list of MLA candidates for the majority of ther 175 MLA seats in Andhra Pradesh.

Over 90% of the seats are being given to the sitting MLAs and there is very little experimentation in terms of giving the seats to the new candidates. Jagan wishes to give the tickets to the sitting MLAs.

Not more than 10% of the total seats will be given to newcomers as the intention is to keep hold fo the experienced leaders.

So at this rate, over 160 of the tidal 175 MLA tickets will be given to the sitting MLAs and there is not much scope for newcoming MLA candidates.
