NTR's Devara postpones release, to take Pushpa 2's date?

It is that time of the year when the top superstar films like Devara and Pushpa 2 are postponing the release plans. As of now, both Devara and Pushpa 2 have skipped their release plans.

Devara is getting pushed out of the April 5 slot due to the pending in the shooting and the additional VFX portion that is left. On top of that, there is the election season in AP which is to commence in the first week of April.

So as things stand, Devara is moving out of April 5 slot and it is to get pushed to the Pushpa 2 slot. If things go as planned, Pushpa 2's release slot of August 15 will go to Devara now.

Devara will move from April 5 slot to August 5, occupying the Pushpa 2 slot. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star is likely to move to the April 5 slot. With lesser stakes involved, Family Star might occupy the Devara slot.

As for Pushpa 2, this film is also getting postponed due to the pending shoot and the film is to be pushed to the first half of 2025. Devara will instead occupy the Pushpa 2 lot.
