Following his role in 'Captain Miller,' Sundeep Kishan reunites with Dhanush in the latter's 50th film, 'Raayan.' This marks Dhanush’s second directorial venture, and while many anticipated Sundeep's role to be brief, similar to his appearance in 'Captain Miller,' his performance in 'Raayan' has turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Sundeep Kishan’s character stands out as a significant presence in 'Raayan,' appearing more frequently than Dhanush in the first half of the movie. His role, characterized by grey shades, delivers unexpected twists that captivate the audience in the second half.
While Dhanush portrays a calm demeanor throughout the first half, Sundeep Kishan plays the rage-filled younger brother of the protagonist. He also shares a beautiful romantic number with Aparna Balamurali, further showcasing his versatility.
Sundeep Kishan’s performance is receiving widespread acclaim from both Telugu and Tamil audiences, highlighting his real potential as an actor. His role in 'Raayan' has not only solidified his reputation but also expanded his recognition in Tamil Nadu, where he was already familiar to audiences.
'Raayan' has become a significant milestone for Sundeep Kishan, bringing his talents to the forefront and earning him praise across the board.
