Dhanush's 'Raayan' set for OTT release: Check date, and streaming platform

Dhanush's film Raayan is performing exceptionally well at the box office. However, it is expected to make its way to an OTT platform soon. Prime Video and Sun Pictures hold the official streaming rights for the film.

Directed and written by Dhanush, Raayan is anticipated to follow the typical four-week window before its online release. According to Track Tollywood, the film is projected to debut on Prime Video by August 30, four weeks after its theatrical release, though the makers have not yet confirmed this date.

Currently, in its second week of theatrical release, Raayan has earned Rs 80.20 crore nett at the domestic box office after 12 days, and Rs 126.75 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk. The film has one more week to capitalize on its box office success before facing significant competition from upcoming Independence Day releases. These include Bollywood films Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, and Vedaa, as well as several highly anticipated South Indian films such as Thangalaan, Raghuthatha, Double iSmart, and Mr Bachchan.
