Ace choreographer Shaik Jani Basha, popularly known as Jani Master, has been arrested by Hyderabad police following allegations of rape, sexual assault, and harassment from his former assistant under the POSCO act. During the success meet of “Mathu Vadhalara 2,” media representatives questioned Ravi about the ongoing controversy surrounding Jani Master, particularly since he has composed several popular songs for Allu Arjun. The victim in this case, a former assistant choreographer, had also contributed choreography for the much-anticipated film Pushpa 2. In his response, Mythri Ravi stated, “What happened between Jani Master and the girl is their personal affair. We have nothing to do with that.”
Ravi went on to clarify that while Jani was slated to compose an item song for Pushpa 2, recent developments had altered those plans. He addressed rumors about the victim's involvement with the production team, asserting, “She has already worked with us, and our hero (Allu Arjun) wouldn’t even know who is in the dance master’s team.” Furthermore, he criticized certain YouTube channels for spreading sensationalized false information regarding the incident.
