Nayanthara's Documentary Controversy

Nayanthara's Documentary Controversy
  • 21 Nov 2024 08:05 AM

Nayanthara's recent Netflix documentary has sparked a major controversy, especially after the actress wrote an open letter accusing Dhanush of demanding money to grant an NOC (No Objection Certificate) for using BTS footage from the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which was produced by him. While Nayanthara expressed her frustration publicly, Dhanush remained silent on the matter, leaving fans and the industry to speculate on his stance.

Following the documentary's release, Nayanthara issued another press note, thanking various producers who allowed her to use footage from their films. She expressed gratitude towards prominent figures like Shah Rukh Khan, AR Murugadoss, K. Balachander, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and others. Special mentions were made for Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, whom she called "Mega Star" and "Mega Power Star," respectively, for granting her the NOC to use footage from Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

However, this press note has fueled speculation that it might be an indirect response to Dhanush's refusal to provide an NOC for the documentary. Many are now wondering if Dhanush will address the allegations and whether he will respond to the ongoing controversy.
