The upcoming Telugu thriller Nenekkadunna, directed by Madhav Kodad and produced by Maruthi Shyam Prasad Reddy under the Ajagava Arts banner, is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 28, 2025. The film, presented by K.B.R, marks the Telugu debut of Mimoh Chakraborty, son of Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty, alongside Airtel ad sensation Sasha Chettri in the lead roles.
The story revolves around two fearless investigative journalists who risk their lives to expose a dangerous terrorist organization and corrupt politicians. Their pursuit of truth leads them into high-stakes confrontations, making for a gripping and intense narrative. The film boasts an ensemble supporting cast, including industry veterans like Murali Sharma, Mahesh Manjrekar, Pradeep Rawat, Sayaji Shinde, Abhimanyu Singh, Rahul Dev, Brahmanandam, and many more.
The film’s trailer was recently unveiled by renowned politician and MP Eatala Rajender, who praised the movie’s focus on journalistic values and women’s empowerment. With music by Sekhar Chandra, lyrics by Suddala Ashok Teja, and background score by Rajesh S.S, Nenekkadunna promises an engaging cinematic experience. Cinematography is handled by Jayapal Nimmala, while the editing is done by the Filmi Gangsters team. Choreographer Prem Rakshit has crafted visually striking dance sequences.
