Big Telugu Releases Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Kingdom Delayed

Two of the most eagerly awaited Telugu films of 2025 Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan and Kingdom featuring Vijay Deverakonda are both reportedly facing fresh release delays. While Hari Hara Veera Mallu was expected to arrive on June 12, sources now suggest a revised date of July 4. But even this target looks increasingly uncertain due to ongoing post-production and VFX challenges.

The film, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A.M. Jyothi Krishna, began filming in 2020 and has already weathered multiple delays first due to the pandemic, then owing to Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments, and now due to high-end visual effects still in progress. With financial and technical issues still unresolved, industry sources say the July 4 release might not hold either.

Adding to the scheduling chaos is Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which was initially slated for a May 30 release. It was later pushed to July 4 to avoid overlapping with other major films. However, the film, which is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and designed as a two-part saga, is also reportedly facing delays. Unfinished reshoots and additional post-production requirements have made its current release date uncertain.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu features an ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj. The film promises a grand period setting with action-heavy sequences and a powerful soundtrack, but the constant delays have started to concern both trade analysts and fans. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is also gearing up for They Call Him OG, a gangster drama slated for release on September 25, 2025.

Kingdom, on the other hand, stars Bhagyashri Borse, Satyadev, and Koushik Mahata alongside Deverakonda and is expected to deliver a layered narrative across two installments. With no official confirmation yet from the makers of either project, audiences and distributors alike are awaiting clarity on when these much-hyped films will finally hit the big screen.
