Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has crossed 110K advance ticket sales in India while North American pre-sales have surpassed $225K.
Irumudi advance sales cross impressive 110K ticket mark
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Irumudi is witnessing encouraging advance booking trends ahead of its theatrical release. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film has gained strong momentum across domestic markets, with ticket sales steadily increasing in several major centres.
According to the early booking trend, Irumudi has sold more than 72,000 tickets through BookMyShow and over 38,000 tickets on District. The combined figure has now crossed the 110,000-ticket mark, giving the Ravi Teja-starrer a strong pre-release boost.
The advance sales are particularly encouraging because the response is coming from different audience segments rather than being limited to only premium urban centres. The growing numbers have increased expectations that Irumudi could register one of Ravi Teja’s stronger recent openings.
Irumudi bookings remain strong across Hyderabad and mass centres
Hyderabad has emerged as one of the strongest markets for Irumudi, with several shows already filling up rapidly. Some screenings are reportedly close to full occupancy even before the film reaches theatres, indicating healthy interest among Ravi Teja’s core audience.
More importantly, bookings are also picking up in mass-oriented centres, which traditionally play an important role in determining the opening-day strength of Ravi Teja’s films. The wider response suggests that the film’s promotional material has connected with both city audiences and viewers in smaller centres.
The songs, trailer and distinctive storyline have helped generate curiosity around the project. With bookings continuing to rise as release approaches, trade expectations around the opening are also becoming more positive.
Irumudi North America pre-sales cross $225K
The overseas market is showing equally encouraging signs for Irumudi. North American pre-sales have crossed the $225,000 mark, putting the film in a strong position ahead of premiere shows.
If the booking momentum continues, Irumudi could potentially deliver one of Ravi Teja’s biggest North American openings. Overseas audiences have traditionally responded well to films that combine commercial entertainment with family emotions, and the latest sales indicate solid early interest.
The pre-release numbers also give Irumudi an important advantage before word of mouth begins to influence weekend collections. A strong premiere response could further improve the film’s overall overseas box-office prospects.
Irumudi opening expectations rise ahead of theatrical release
Irumudi offers an unusual combination of family emotions, crime elements and Ayyappa Deeksha themes, giving the film a different flavour from a conventional commercial entertainer. Shiva Nirvana’s treatment and Ravi Teja’s presence have further strengthened audience curiosity.
The strong response to the trailer and music appears to be translating into ticket sales, with both domestic and international bookings showing steady growth.
With advance sales already crossing 110K tickets in India and North American pre-sales moving beyond $225K, Irumudi is entering release with encouraging momentum. The final opening will depend on last-minute bookings and audience response, but the current trend suggests that Ravi Teja’s film is well placed for a powerful start at the box office.
