Ustaad Bhagat Singh Shoot to Resume in June: Director
Good news for Pawan Kalyan fans: the long-awaited action entertainer Ustaad Bhagat Singh is finally returning to the floors. Director Harish Shankar confirmed that the film’s shoot will resume in the second week of June, with sources close to the project indicating June 12 as the date when Pawan Kalyan is expected to join the set.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is a high-octane cop drama that marks a highly anticipated reunion between Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar, following their massive success with Gabbar Singh. Ever since the initial announcement, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates, especially with delays caused by the actor’s political commitments and production setbacks.
The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead and features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, ensuring mass appeal and musical buzz. Though it was earlier rumored to be a remake of Thalapathy Vijay’s Theri, recent reports suggest Ustaad Bhagat Singh is based on an original story tailored to Pawan Kalyan’s strengths as a mass hero.
The first glimpse, released earlier, showed the actor in full cop avatar with intense visuals and powerful dialogue delivery, stoking excitement for what is poised to be another blockbuster. The film’s production had been paused for several months, but with the actor now balancing his film and political career currently serving as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh the project is picking up pace again.
In the meantime, fans also await the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, another long-delayed Pawan Kalyan project, now aiming for a June 12 release, provided post-production is completed on time. With multiple films lined up and a busy political schedule, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Pawan Kalyan both on-screen and off it.
