Kuberaa Box Office: Dhanush Film Crosses ₹55 Cr in 4 Days

Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s crime drama Kuberaa continues to make a strong impact at the Indian box office. In just four days since its release on June 20, the film has surpassed ₹55 crore nett across India, with its worldwide earnings on the verge of touching the ₹100 crore mark. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the bilingual film was simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil, but the reception has been varied across regions.

According to early trade estimates from tracking portal Sacnilk, Kuberaa earned ₹6.50 crore nett on Monday, showing a noticeable dip from its Sunday collection, which is typical for post-weekend performance. The Telugu version continues to perform strongly, contributing ₹32.9 crore in just three days. However, the Tamil version appears to be losing steam, having collected ₹13.65 crore so far.

Day-Wise Box Office Collection (India Nett):
Day 1 (Thursday): ₹14.75 crore
Day 2 (Friday): ₹16.5 crore
Day 3 (Saturday): ₹17.35 crore
Day 4 (Sunday): ₹6.50 crore
Total (4 Days): ₹55.10 crore

This drop on Day 4 is in line with expectations, especially following a high-octane weekend. If the film continues to hold steady during weekdays, it could easily surpass its production costs and turn profitable by the end of its first week.

Kuberaa stars Dhanush and Nagarjuna in powerful lead roles, supported by Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh. The supporting cast includes names like Dalip Tahil, Sayaji Shinde, Sunaina, Hareesh Peradi, and K Bhagyaraj. The film’s gripping crime narrative, combined with a strong emotional core, has struck a chord with audiences, especially Telugu-speaking fans.

Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, Kuberaa features music by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography handled by Niketh Bommireddy and editing by Karthik Srinivas. The stylish visuals and intense performances have been praised, particularly in the Telugu version, which is clearly leading the charge in collections.

With a strong opening and decent word-of-mouth, all eyes are now on how Kuberaa performs in the crucial weekdays ahead. Its momentum in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remains solid, while makers may need to strategize to boost viewership in Tamil Nadu.
