After Kamal In Kalki, Nag Ashwin In Talks To Direct Rajinikanth Next?

After Kamal In Kalki, Nag Ashwin In Talks To Direct Rajinikanth Next?

Nag Ashwin, one of the most talked-about filmmakers in Indian cinema, is once again in the spotlight with reports suggesting a possible collaboration with Superstar Rajinikanth. Despite directing only three films so far, Nag Ashwin has already worked with some of the biggest stars, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in the massive sci-fi spectacle Kalki. Now, if things move forward, Rajinikanth could be the next legendary name added to his list.

According to industry buzz, Nag Ashwin recently pitched an idea to Rajinikanth, and the Superstar is said to have responded positively, asking him to develop it further. If the project takes shape, it will mark Rajinikanth’s return to working with a Telugu director after a long gap. It would also place Nag Ashwin in a rare league of directors like Lokesh Kanagaraj, who have had the honor of directing both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

Known for his larger-than-life storytelling and experimental subjects, Nag Ashwin has built a reputation for delivering grand cinema. Given his frequent association with Vyjayanthi Movies, it is likely that this ambitious project could also materialize under the same banner. With Kalki 2 already in pre-production, the possibility of a Rajinikanth film adds even more anticipation around the director’s future. More concrete details on this exciting development are expected soon, but for fans of both Rajinikanth and Nag Ashwin, the news itself has created waves of speculation and excitement in the film industry.
