After facing multiple postponements, Raviteja’s Mass Jathara has officially locked its release date for October 31. The film will enjoy a solo window with no major competition except for Baahubali re-release shows. The makers are confident of securing a strong opening, but the bigger challenge lies in creating the right buzz among audiences.

So far, the promotional content has drawn mixed reactions. While Raviteja’s trademark mass energy is evident in the teaser and promos, the lyrical songs have not generated the expected hype. In fact, one track even attracted criticism for its excessive slang. This leaves the team with the responsibility of ramping up promotions before release to ensure better momentum at the box office.

The film marks the directorial debut of Bhanu Bhogavarapu, already known as a successful writer in Tollywood. However, shifting from writing to directing puts him under fresh scrutiny. Raviteja too is in dire need of a comeback, as most of his recent films have underperformed, except Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya. Producer Naga Vamsi is also banking heavily on this release after facing back-to-back failures with Kingdom and War 2.

Mass Jathara co-stars Sreeleela as the female lead, while Bheems Ceciroleo provides the music, expected to be a key attraction. With all eyes on how the film shapes up, both Raviteja and the team hope this festival season release can finally bring them the much-needed blockbuster success.
