South Indian sensation Sreeleela is all set to make her grand Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in a much-anticipated romantic drama. Initially speculated to be titled Aashiqui 3, the film has undergone a title change due to copyright and creative differences.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Basu and produced by T-Series, the film is now officially titled ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’, a name inspired by the iconic song from the original Aashiqui movie. The decision to drop the Aashiqui 3 title was reportedly made to avoid legal hurdles and creative clashes between producers Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt, who previously parted ways.

While fans were eager for a continuation of the Aashiqui franchise, the makers have opted for a fresh identity, though the essence remains that of a classic Bollywood love story. The film is currently under reshoots in Mumbai, with production expected to continue until the end of 2025.

‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026, and marks a significant entry for Sreeleela into the Hindi film industry. Her pairing with Kartik Aaryan has already generated strong buzz, and this romantic drama is expected to be one of 2026's major releases.
