Vrusshabha Begins Musical Journey With Emotional Father-Son Song Appa

The makers of Mohanlal’s much-anticipated pan-Indian film Vrusshabha have officially kick-started the film’s promotional journey by releasing its first song titled Appa. Introduced as the soul of the film, the song sets a deeply emotional tone and highlights the timeless bond between a father and son, which forms the emotional foundation of the story. With this heartfelt musical beginning, Vrusshabha promises an experience rooted in strong emotions and universal relationships.

Composed by Sam CS, Appa stands out for its sincerity and emotional depth. The song features soulful vocals by Vijai Prakash in Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu, while Madhu Balakrishnan lends his voice to the Malayalam version. The lyrics are crafted by a team of renowned lyricists across languages, including Vinayak Shashikumar for Malayalam, Kalyan Chakravarthy Tripuraneni for Telugu, Kartik Kush for Hindi, and Nagarjun Sharma for Kannada. Each version carries its own cultural flavor while preserving the shared emotional essence of the father-son relationship. The music rights are held by T-Series, and the song has been released with the caption presenting Appa as the soulful father-son track and the heart of the film.

Director Nanda Kishore shared that the decision to begin the film’s musical journey with Appa was intentional, as the entire narrative of Vrusshabha revolves around the emotional strength of a father and son bond. He stated that the song reflects the heartbeat of the film and offers audiences a true sense of what the story stands for. He also expressed gratitude to Sam CS for capturing the depth of emotion required for the track and mentioned that Appa is just the beginning, with more layers of the film’s soul to be revealed through upcoming music and moments.

Music director Sam CS described composing Appa as a deeply personal experience, noting that the emotion connected with him instantly when the story was narrated. He emphasized that having Mohanlal at the center of this relationship added immense responsibility and depth to the composition. According to him, the song was kept honest and simple to reflect the truth of the bond portrayed on screen.

Vrusshabha stars Mohanlal alongside Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika, Ajay, Neha Saxena, Garuda Ram, Vinay Verma, Ali, Ayyappa P. Sharma, and Kishore.
