Ram Charan Confirms Peddi Release Timeline, Fans Celebrate Date

Peddi is finally on firm ground as Ram Charan publicly confirmed that the much-awaited film remains locked for a March 27, 2026 release. The announcement puts an end to the stream of speculation that suggested the project could be pushed back due to incomplete shooting schedules. Earlier, the makers reassured fans by reiterating the confirmed date while celebrating the success of the Chikiri Chikiri song, but the actor’s own words have now given total clarity.

Ram Charan made the statement during the Champion trailer launch event held in Hyderabad. When asked about progress on Peddi, he said that filming is going as planned and confidently stated that the movie will reach theatres on March 27. He added a light moment by joking about how Champion will release first, followed by Sankranti films, before Peddi arrives to join the big box office lineup.

Recent reports suggested that Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh might take over the same release slot if Peddi fell behind schedule, leading to confusion among fans. However, the producer’s thank you note celebrating the response to Chikiri Chikiri reaffirmed the date, and Ram Charan’s update has now sealed it. With Buchi Babu pushing forward to complete production on time, excitement continues to rise as trade experts predict a strong opening.

Peddi has been trending ever since the first glimpse dropped, and the chart-topping reception to the multilingual Chikiri Chikiri single has only intensified expectations. Fans are eager to see Ram Charan in the Buchi Babu directional, while the presence of Kannada star Shivaraj Kumar adds major weight to the cast. Jahnvi Kapoor takes on the female lead role, and celebrated composer AR Rahman is behind the soundtrack, contributing to the growing hype. With clear confirmation of its release date and steady momentum, Peddi appears set to make a strong impact next Summer.
