Mythri Film Distributors Acquire Nizam Rights of Ram Charan’s Peddi
Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi is steadily building strong buzz ahead of its release, and the latest update from the film’s trade circles has further raised expectations. According to the latest reports, Mythri Film Distributors have secured the Nizam distribution rights for the much-anticipated Telugu film. Peddi is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on April 30 and is already considered one of the most awaited Telugu movies of the year.
The Nizam region is one of the most crucial markets for Telugu cinema, often playing a major role in determining the box office success of big-budget films. Securing distribution rights in this territory is always a significant step for producers and distributors. With Mythri Film Distributors taking charge of the Nizam release, the film is expected to get a strong theatrical push in the region.
Industry sources reveal that there was considerable interest from major distributors for the Nizam rights of Peddi. Prominent distributors including Dil Raju and Suniel Narang were reportedly keen to acquire the rights. However, Mythri Film Distributors ultimately secured the deal and will handle the film’s release in the key Nizam territory.
Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and marks the debut production venture of Venkata Satish Kilaru. The film is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, making it a highly anticipated collaboration within the Telugu film industry.
The film features Ram Charan in the lead role with Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. Adding further excitement to the project, the music is composed by Academy Award-winning composer A R Rahman. With a strong cast, an acclaimed music director, and experienced production houses backing the film, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the biggest Telugu releases of 2026.
