Ram Charan’s upcoming pan-India film Peddi is gearing up for a massive promotional push, with music maestro AR Rahman expected to play a key role during the grand trailer launch event in Bhopal on May 16, 2026.
Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Peddi is all set for a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has already generated strong excitement among audiences in the South Indian market. As part of the next phase of promotions, the makers are reportedly planning to launch the official trailer at a massive public event scheduled to take place in Bhopal on May 16. The event is expected to become one of the biggest promotional activities for the film ahead of release.
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming event is expected to be a live performance by Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman. Industry circles believe Rahman’s presence could significantly boost the film’s visibility in the North Indian market. Following the nationwide success of RRR, Ram Charan is reportedly keen to strengthen his pan-India image with Peddi after Game Changer failed to fully capitalize on the momentum created by his global recognition.
Apart from Ram Charan, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor in a prominent role. However, trade analysts feel that AR Rahman’s popularity and musical appeal across Hindi-speaking regions could attract huge crowds and generate strong buzz around the trailer launch. Interestingly, the two songs released from Peddi have already emerged as chartbusters nationwide. One of the tracks was sung by Mohit Chauhan, while the other featured vocals by AR Rahman himself, both receiving excellent response from music lovers.
Sources suggest that Rahman may perform the songs live during the Bhopal event, which could create a strong emotional connection with audiences and further amplify excitement for the movie. If the live concert segment clicks with fans, the promotional event is expected to become a major success and give Peddi the nationwide attention the makers are aiming for. More official details regarding the trailer launch event are likely to be announced soon.
