Rashmika Mandanna joins Mumbai schedule

The shooting of Raaka, directed by Atlee, is currently progressing in Mumbai with a star-studded cast. Actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly joined the ongoing schedule alongside Allu Arjun, marking a significant development in the production. Her entry into the shoot has generated strong buzz, especially given the scale and ambition of the project. The film is being positioned as one of the most ambitious pan-India ventures currently in production, with heavy focus on visual storytelling and large-scale action sequences.

Rashmika to play a negative shaded role

What has created the biggest discussion in industry circles is Rashmika Mandanna’s character. Reports suggest that she will be seen in a negative shaded role, a departure from her usual glamorous and emotional characters. If confirmed, this role could mark a major transformation in her screen image. Known for her strong fan base and widely appreciated performances, this new avatar is expected to showcase a different dimension of her acting range. Atlee is reportedly designing the role with multiple twists and unpredictable layers.

Allu Arjun–Rashmika pairing gets a new twist

The combination of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna has already delivered massive box office success through the Pushpa franchise. However, Raaka is expected to completely change their on-screen dynamic. Instead of romance-driven storytelling, the film is expected to explore a more intense and complex relationship between the two characters. This shift has significantly increased curiosity among fans, who are eager to see how the duo’s chemistry evolves in a darker narrative space.

Big budget spectacle with star-studded cast

Raaka is being mounted on a massive budget with extensive visual effects and large-scale production design. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in a key role, further strengthening its pan-India appeal. Music for the film is being composed by Sai Abhyankar, adding another creative layer to the project. With Atlee’s commercial filmmaking style and a powerful ensemble cast, Raaka is being positioned as one of the biggest cinematic events in Indian cinema.
