Vishwanath & Sons releases worldwide on August 14, 2026, with Suriya and Mamitha Baiju leading the family entertainer directed by Venky Atluri. The newly released Wedding Song features Suriya singing in Telugu, vibrant wedding visuals and festive music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
Vishwanath & Sons Wedding Song Brings Colorful Family Celebrations
The makers of Vishwanath & Sons have released a lively new track titled The Wedding Song, adding momentum to the film’s promotional campaign ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 14. Featuring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, the song is built around the cheerful atmosphere of a traditional wedding and combines colorful sets, energetic choreography and a strong family-celebration mood.
The number follows the positive response to the film’s first song and presents Vishwanath & Sons as a festive entertainer aimed at family audiences during the Independence Day weekend. The visuals focus on wedding rituals, relatives gathering for celebrations and the playful chemistry between the lead pair, giving the track a warm and instantly accessible appeal.
Suriya’s Telugu Vocals Add a Personal Touch
The biggest attraction of The Wedding Song is Suriya lending his own voice to the Telugu version. His decision to sing the track gives the promotional release a distinctive identity and strengthens his connection with Telugu-speaking fans. The performance carries an informal and enthusiastic quality that fits the celebratory setting rather than sounding overly polished or disconnected from the visuals.
Suriya also brings considerable energy to the screen, matching Mamitha Baiju’s lively expressions and dance movements. Their chemistry helps the song work as more than a standalone promotional number, while the wedding setting allows the actors to showcase humor, warmth and a sense of togetherness expected to be central to the film.
GV Prakash Kumar Delivers a Festive Track
Composer G. V. Prakash Kumar has designed the song as a bright, crowd-friendly number with an easy rhythm and a celebratory hook. The music supports the wedding atmosphere without losing the emotional tone associated with a family drama. Saraswathi Puthra Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics highlight love, family bonds and the excitement surrounding a marriage celebration.
Director Venky Atluri, known for Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, appears to be positioning Vishwanath & Sons as a blend of entertainment and emotion. The Wedding Song reinforces that approach by combining commercial energy with a traditional family setting, giving audiences a clearer idea of the film’s tone.
Vishwanath & Sons Eyes Independence Day Weekend
Vishwanath & Sons is scheduled to open in theaters worldwide on August 14, placing it at the start of the Independence Day holiday weekend. The release timing could help the film attract families and fans looking for a festive big-screen entertainer.
With Suriya coming off Karuppu and Venky Atluri following the success of his recent films, expectations around the project are steadily rising. The response to The Wedding Song will now play an important role in sustaining interest as the makers prepare more promotional material before the theatrical launch.
