Avengers: Endgame is returning to Indian cinemas in an expanded Encore edition on September 25, 2026, and early booking figures indicate strong interest among Marvel fans. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Avengers: Endgame Encore has recorded approximately Rs 4.45 crore in advance sales for its first three days when block seats are included. Bookings reportedly increased by around Rs 1.43 crore during the latest 24-hour period.
Excluding block seats, the film sold 12,709 tickets across 1,613 shows in the available booking update. The figures suggest the re-release could secure one of the strongest openings recorded by a returning Hollywood film in India. The Encore version will feature additional footage and an exclusive preview of Avengers: Doomsday. Marvel is positioning the new material as a link between Endgame and the upcoming Avengers film, which is scheduled for theatrical release on December 18.
Opening-day advance sales lead bookings
September 25 has generated the highest demand so far. The opening day recorded advance sales of approximately Rs 21.25 lakh without block seats, with 4,790 tickets booked across 537 shows.
When block seats are included, the estimated Day 1 advance gross rises to around Rs 1.64 crore. Day 2 has registered Rs 14.83 lakh from 3,735 tickets across 537 shows, excluding block seats. Day 3 has collected approximately Rs 14.74 lakh from 4,184 tickets across 539 shows. The three-day total reaches Rs 4.45 crore after the inclusion of block bookings.
The National Capital Region is leading the opening-day city figures with around Rs 42 lakh, including block seats. Bengaluru follows with approximately Rs 35 lakh, while Mumbai has contributed nearly Rs 22 lakh. The film will face competition from new Indian releases, including Nani’s The Paradise. However, nostalgia, premium-screen demand and the Avengers: Doomsday preview could help the re-release attract a strong opening-weekend audience.
Premium formats and bonus footage drive demand
Avengers: Endgame Encore will be screened in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It will also be presented across premium formats, including IMAX 2D, 4DX 3D, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE.
English IMAX 2D shows reportedly earned around Rs 8.07 lakh from 1,513 tickets in the latest booking data. The 4DX 3D format crossed approximately Rs 4.67 lakh from 801 tickets. The regular Encore edition adds nearly two minutes of footage, while selected premium presentations are expected to feature more exclusive material. The new content gives long-time fans an incentive to revisit the film and allows younger viewers to experience it theatrically.
Originally released in 2019, Avengers: Endgame earned approximately $2.79 billion worldwide. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, it featured Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner and Josh Brolin. The Russo Brothers are returning to the franchise with Avengers: Doomsday, further strengthening audience interest in the Endgame re-release and its exclusive preview.
