Meenakshi Chaudhary is reportedly in talks to play the female lead opposite Nani in Bloody Romeo, the actor’s next film with director Sujeeth. The makers have yet to confirm her casting, but an official announcement is expected soon, according to a Filmy Focus report published on September 29.
The possible pairing has become a talking point as Nani prepares for his next project following The Paradise. Meenakshi’s role, if the discussions lead to a deal, would place her at the centre of a large-scale action drama. For now, details about her character and the story have not been disclosed.
Bloody Romeo is expected to begin shooting in October. The production is reportedly being mounted on a substantial budget, with a major portion planned for London. The overseas schedule could provide a distinct setting for the film, while Nani is expected to appear in a new, stylish look.
The film also has Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran attached to an important role. His character has not been revealed, leaving the nature of his involvement open until the team shares further details. Sujeeth is directing the project, and Niharika Entertainment is producing it.
Praveen Lakkaraju is set to compose both the songs and the background score. With filming expected to start soon, the next update from the makers may clarify the cast, shooting schedule and the film’s wider release plans. The report says Nani is keen to complete the shoot as early as possible.
The team is reportedly planning Bloody Romeo for a summer 2027 release, but a specific date has not been announced. That target will depend on how the October start and subsequent schedules progress, particularly with a significant portion of the film planned outside India.
Meenakshi Chaudhary’s casting remains the key unconfirmed detail. Until the makers announce the female lead, she should be described as being “in talks” for the role rather than as a confirmed member of the cast. An official announcement would give audiences their first clear indication of the lead pairing in Sujeeth and Nani’s action drama.
