Janhvi Kapoor Pays Tribute to Sridevi on Halloween

As Halloween celebrations took place worldwide, Janhvi Kapoor chose a nostalgic Bollywood theme instead of a traditional spooky costume. The actress recreated her mother Sridevi's famous appearance from the fantasy drama Nagina, bringing back memories of the classic film.

Janhvi wore a beautiful pink outfit paired with statement jewellery, matching makeup and a hairstyle inspired by Sridevi's original look. She carefully recreated the film's promotional poster and memorable moments, capturing the essence of her mother's celebrated character.

Orry Recreates Rishi Kapoor's Nagina Look

Janhvi was joined by social media personality Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, who recreated Rishi Kapoor's appearance from Nagina. Her friend Vaishnav Praveen also participated by portraying a character originally played by Amrish Puri.

Together, they recreated memorable visuals from the film, including its poster and behind-the-scenes moments. The photographs and videos offered a nostalgic glimpse into the 1986 classic while adding a playful Halloween touch.

Janhvi Shares Emotional Halloween Message

Sharing the photographs on Instagram, Janhvi described the recreation as a tribute to one of cinema's most iconic moments. She explained that Halloween costumes are not always about frightening characters but can also celebrate favourite films and popular culture.

Remembering the legendary actors, she wrote, "And who could possibly be more iconic than Mumma, Rishi uncle and Amrish sir!!"

Her message reflected the personal significance of recreating Sridevi's appearance while honouring Rishi Kapoor and Amrish Puri, who played important roles in the original film.

Nagina Remains a Memorable Bollywood Classic

Released in 1986, Nagina starred Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Amrish Puri. The fantasy drama featured Sridevi as a shape-shifting serpent woman and became one of the major commercial successes of her career.

The film remains popular for its fantasy storyline, memorable performances and Sridevi's distinctive appearance. Nearly four decades later, Janhvi's Halloween recreation highlights the film's lasting cultural appeal and celebrates her mother's legacy in Indian cinema.
