Popular Indian comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent has quietly made a comeback on YouTube, four months after it was pulled down due to controversy. The show, known for its mix of comedic talent and unscripted moments, had faced major backlash earlier this year after a controversial remark by guest Ranveer Allahbadia led to legal trouble and intense public criticism.
Following the uproar, all episodes were deleted from Samay Raina’s main YouTube channel, and the comedian issued a public apology, explaining that he only intended to entertain. Now, fans have discovered that segments of the show have resurfaced on a new YouTube page titled India’s Got Latent Clips. The page, which remained private until recently, now hosts over 500 videos and has gained around 493,000 subscribers.
As soon as the clips went public again, fans rushed to the channel’s comment sections to express their excitement and call for new episodes. Many wrote that the show was one of the best Indian comedy series in recent times and shared nostalgic memories of past episodes. Some even speculated about a full return of the show, given the renewed interest and positive response.
While there's no official word on whether India’s Got Latent will release new episodes, the sudden reactivation of content on a separate platform suggests that a phased revival might be in the works. Meanwhile, Samay Raina is focusing on his international comedy tour, which kicked off on June 5 in Cologne and will continue through July 20, wrapping up in Sydney. The tour spans cities across Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, keeping him in the spotlight as fans await clarity on the future of his much-loved show.
