Actor Shefali Jariwala's sudden death has raised numerous questions, and forensic tests are now underway to determine the exact cause. Despite an autopsy at Cooper Hospital, the cause of her death remains undetermined. Forensic experts have sent samples for histopathology and chemical analysis to Kalina Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in hopes of uncovering the truth behind her untimely passing.
Initial reports suggest that the cause may be related to a sudden drop in blood pressure leading to cardiac arrest. However, several factors could have contributed to this, including Shefali's fasting and the self-medication she had been undertaking during that period. CCTV footage from her home reveals that after fasting for the day, Shefali consumed stale fried rice, which led to her feeling uneasy and acidic. Shortly after, she took medication for the discomfort, including Pantoprazole and Domperidone, before her condition worsened.
Family and staff members rushed Shefali to Bellevue Hospital, but she was declared dead upon arrival. Investigations also revealed that she had been using various medications for anti-aging, including Glutathione injections and Vitamin-C pills. While no foul play has been suspected at this time, the investigation is still ongoing.
The forensic team is closely examining the tissue and viscera samples to determine whether toxins or other substances were present in her body at the time of death. Once the chemical and histopathological reports are complete, the true cause of Shefali Jariwala's tragic demise will hopefully be revealed.
