CBN Pushes Andhra Pradesh Towards AI and Quantum Leadership at Davos WEF

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu once again proved why he is regarded as one of India’s most visionary leaders during his participation at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Known for anticipating global trends ahead of time, Naidu is now placing a strong strategic focus on artificial intelligence and quantum computing to transform Andhra Pradesh into a global technology destination. His series of high-level meetings and policy-driven initiatives at Davos reflect a clear commitment to future-ready governance and innovation-driven growth.

Speaking about the state’s ambitions, Naidu stated that Andhra Pradesh is preparing to become a leader in shaping the future of quantum technology. He highlighted the progress made towards establishing a Quantum Valley, along with large-scale skilling initiatives designed to create a strong and supportive quantum ecosystem. According to him, these efforts are aimed at ensuring that Andhra Pradesh does not merely adopt future technologies but actively contributes to their global development and application.

During his Davos visit, Chandrababu Naidu held a productive meeting with IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna. The discussions focused on setting up a Quantum Computing Centre in Amaravati, establishing a Quantum Innovation Centre, and training one million youth of Andhra Pradesh in artificial intelligence. These initiatives are expected to equip the next generation with cutting-edge skills while attracting global technology partnerships into the state.

Apart from quantum initiatives, the Chief Minister has also pushed several AI-driven projects including a GenAI model, a content super app, academic integration programs, an AI-powered Film City, virtual production studios, and an AI Creative Tech Hub. These projects aim to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position in the digital content economy while opening new career opportunities for young professionals across multiple sectors.

With a clear focus on innovation, skilling, and global collaboration, Andhra Pradesh is steadily emerging as a strong contender to become India’s AI and quantum technology hub. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership and future-oriented vision are setting the foundation for long-term technological, economic, and employment growth, making Andhra Pradesh one of the most promising states in India’s digital transformation journey.
