Bay Area Fourth of July events 2026
San Francisco’s Fourth of July fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m., with recommended viewing locations including Crissy Field, Marina Green, Pier 39 and the northern Embarcadero. The city is also hosting a 7X7 light installation at Civic Center Plaza through Saturday, July 4, and an America 250 picnic and speeches event from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fort Mason Park.
Several Bay Area cities are planning fireworks shows. Antioch’s fireworks are expected around 9:20 p.m., Concord’s show starts at 9 p.m. at Mt. Diablo High School, Cupertino’s fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. at Hyde Middle School, and Santa Clara’s fireworks are scheduled for 9:40 p.m. at Mission College.
Other fireworks events include American Canyon at dusk, Gilroy at 9:30 p.m. at Gilroy High School, Healdsburg at 9:30 p.m., Moraga at an estimated 9:30 p.m., Pittsburg from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the marina, Pleasant Hill at 8:45 p.m., Sausalito at 9:15 p.m. and Mountain View after a 7 p.m. San Francisco Symphony concert at Shoreline Amphitheater.
Drone shows, parades and family festivals
Drone shows are also part of the holiday schedule. San Jose’s Lake Cunningham celebration begins at 6 p.m., with a drone show at 9 p.m. Redwood City’s drone show is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. over the Port of Redwood City, while San Pablo’s drone show begins at 9:30 p.m. Vallejo’s Mare Island Spirit Ship Celebration includes a 125-drone show above the waterfront.
Parades are scheduled in several cities, including Alameda, Danville, Fairfield, Half Moon Bay, Napa, Pleasant Hill, Redwood City, San Jose, Sausalito and South San Francisco. Many events also include food, live music, children’s activities, runs, picnics or community festivals.
Families should check official city event pages before leaving, because parking, ticket rules, viewing areas and weather-related changes may vary by location. Foster City and San Leandro list holiday celebrations but no fireworks this year.
