K-pop sensation TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is set to embark on a new, introspective chapter with the release of their eighth mini-album, 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, slated for April 13. The group has unveiled the album’s full tracklist and a set of captivating concept photos, generating excitement for what promises to be one of their most emotionally charged projects yet.
At the core of the album lies a "thorn" motif, symbolizing emotional conflict, resilience, and personal growth. The six tracks on the album offer a blend of genres while delving into the group’s journey. The tracklist includes: Bed of Thorns, Stick With You, Take Me to Nirvana (feat. Vinida Weng), So What, 21st Century Romance, and Dream of Mine.
Leading the album’s release is the electro-pop track Stick With You, featuring a punchy vintage 909 drum line combined with techno-punk elements. The track captures the raw emotions before a breakup, focusing on the desperation of holding on “just one more day.” This song reflects the group’s own emotional journey over the past seven years.
The album kicks off with Bed of Thorns, inspired by the idiom about living with the consequences of one's actions, setting a tone of accountability. Take Me to Nirvana, featuring Vinida Weng, explores the sense of release after letting go, while So What reflects candidly on the anxieties faced by the group over the years. 21st Century Romance takes a broader view, commenting on the noise and distractions of modern life. The album’s final track, Dream of Mine, leaves listeners with a sense of uncertainty and quiet anticipation.
TXT has further ramped up excitement with a cinematic rollout beginning in March. The group introduced four distinct visual concepts—THORN, HUNGER, TENSION, and ANXIETY—that expand on the album’s central themes. THORN uses monochrome imagery to suggest rebirth, while HUNGER contrasts calm visuals with underlying destruction. TENSION embraces unease with thorn motifs, and ANXIETY places the group in a surreal forest, reflecting their acceptance of the unknown.
Ahead of the album’s release, TXT will drop a music video teaser for Stick With You on April 11, with the full album and video releasing on April 13 at 6 pm KST (2:30 pm IST). Beyond this much-anticipated comeback, TXT will also headline KCON LA 2026 on August 16 with an hour-long solo set, marking another major milestone in their growing global influence. With members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, TXT has continued to blend coming-of-age storytelling with genre-fluid pop, keeping fans excited for what’s to come.
