Twisha Sharma Death Case: Final Chats Raise Questions

Twisha Sharma, a 33-year-old woman from Noida, was found dead at her husband Samarth Singh’s house in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12, 2026. The case came into sharper focus today, May 18, after her final WhatsApp and Instagram chats surfaced in the news, showing alleged anxiety, emotional distress, missing home, and a feeling of being “trapped” before her death. Singh is a lawyer, and the couple had reportedly met on a dating app in 2024 before marrying in December 2025.

Twisha’s family has alleged dowry harassment, domestic abuse, foul play, and obstruction of justice by her husband and in-laws. Her father Navnidhi Sharma and cousin Ashish Sharma said the family had been struggling for justice in Bhopal and alleged delays in FIR registration and inadequate action. The family also claimed there were injury marks on her body and demanded a fresh post-mortem examination at AIIMS Delhi.

A Special Investigation Team has been formed to examine the case, including Twisha’s final chats, family allegations, post-mortem findings, injury marks, digital evidence, and statements from those connected to the case. Since the investigation is still underway, the case should be reported as a suspicious death with allegations of dowry harassment and foul play, not as confirmed murder unless police officially establish it.
