Gujarat Titans reached the IPL 2026 final after a confident seven-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 at New Chandigarh. Chasing 215, GT showed calm control as captain Shubman Gill played a brilliant knock of 104 from 53 balls.

Gill attacked with clean timing and smart shot selection, keeping Gujarat ahead in the chase. B. Sai Sudharsan also played a key role with 58 from 32 balls, giving GT a strong opening stand. Even after both set batters were dismissed, Rahul Tewatia finished the match in style as Gujarat completed the chase in 18.4 overs.

Sooryavanshi Shines For RR

Earlier, Rajasthan Royals scored 214 for six after choosing to bat first. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again stood out with a superb 96 from 47 balls, narrowly missing a century. Donovan Ferreira’s late hitting boosted RR’s total, but their bowlers could not stop GT’s powerful chase.

With this win, the Gujarat Titans will face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2026 final on May 31.
