On May 11, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit in Lucknow, marking a major step in India's defence sector. Built within the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, this facility was launched on National Technology Day, commemorating India’s 1998 Pokhran nuclear tests. The plant, developed on 80 hectares of land provided by the UP government, was constructed at a cost of ₹300 crore and completed in just 40 month
