In a uniquely Texas-style traffic incident, a truck carrying Cheetos collided with an Amazon Prime delivery vehicle along SH 130 Southbound at Moore Road in Travis County. The crash, which occurred on Thursday, left the highway partially covered in orange snack puffs and packaging debris, but thankfully resulted in no injuries.
The Mustang Ridge Police Department shared details of the crash via a Facebook post, noting that one of its sergeants responded to assist the Travis County Sheriff’s Office at the scene. According to the statement, while the collision did not cause any harm to drivers or passengers, the aftermath was a colorful and unexpected mess.
Images and updates from the site quickly caught the attention of social media users, as large quantities of Cheetos bags were seen scattered across the roadway. The unusual sight disrupted traffic for a short time as cleanup crews worked to clear the mess and restore normal flow along SH 130.

Although the cause of the crash has not been publicly confirmed, officials have reiterated that no medical attention was required for either driver. The incident has since become a trending topic locally, with residents sharing jokes and memes about the "Cheeto chaos."
Authorities continue to remind drivers to exercise caution, especially when navigating high-speed corridors shared by passenger and commercial trucks. Meanwhile, drivers in Travis County had an unexpectedly crunchy commute as Cheetos briefly became a roadside attraction.
