Renowned Bengali actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee tragically passed away following a boating accident at Talsari beach in Odisha. The 42-year-old actor was reportedly in the region for a film shoot when the incident occurred, sending shockwaves across the Bengali film industry and his fan base.
According to initial reports, Banerjee fell into the sea while boating near the coastal area. Rescue teams quickly responded and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Authorities later shifted his body to a government hospital for further procedures as investigations began into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Local authorities have initiated a detailed probe to determine how the accident occurred.
