Gaddar Film Awards 2025: Allu Arjun, Nag Ashwin Win Big

The Gaddar Film Awards 2025, presented by the Telangana government, have honored some of the finest talents in Telugu cinema. From Nag Ashwin’s visionary work in Kalki 2898 AD to Allu Arjun’s powerful performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule, this year’s winners celebrate both commercial success and artistic achievement.

Announced by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, the awards ceremony is set to take place on June 14 at HITEX in Hyderabad. The Gaddar Awards are named after the revolutionary balladeer Gaddar and are intended to spotlight culturally and socially impactful cinema in Telangana.

Top Honours at Gaddar Film Awards 2025:

  • Best Director: Nag Ashwin (Kalki 2898 AD)

  • Best Leading Actor: Allu Arjun (Pushpa 2: The Rule)

  • Best Leading Actress: Nivetha Thomas (35 Chinna Katha Kadhu)

  • First Best Feature Film: Kalki 2898 AD

  • Second Best Feature Film: Pottel

  • Third Best Feature Film: Lucky Baskhar

Other notable winners include:

  • Best Supporting Actor: SJ Suryah (Saripodhaa Sanivaaram)

  • Best Supporting Actress: Sharanya Pradeep (Ambajipeta Marriage Band)

  • Best Music Director: Bheems Ceciroleo (Razakar)

  • Best Male Playback Singer: Sid Sriram (Ooru Peru Bhairavakona)

  • Best Female Playback Singer: Shreya Ghoshal (Pushpa 2: The Rule)

Special Awards:

  • Best Film on National Integration & Social Uplift: Committee Kurrollu

  • Best Children’s Film: 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu

  • Best Film on Environment, Heritage & History: Razakar

  • Best Debut Director: Yadhu Vamsi (Committee Kurrollu)

  • Best Wholesome Entertainment Film: Aay

Deputy CM Vikramarka emphasized that these awards aim to elevate Telangana’s cultural presence on a global stage, just as Gaddar’s music and ideology have done for years. With cinematic excellence, heartfelt performances, and socially resonant themes, the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025 reflect the vibrancy and diversity of the state’s film industry.
