Israeli PM Netanyahu: Iran Wants to Kill Donald Trump, Enemy No.1

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly declared that Iran’s Islamic regime views US President Donald Trump as “enemy number one” and is actively seeking to assassinate him. Netanyahu made these claims during an interview with Fox News, emphasizing Trump’s decisive leadership in opposing Iran’s nuclear ambitions. According to Netanyahu, Trump’s termination of the Iran nuclear deal and the killing of Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani were key moves that intensified Iran’s hostility towards him.

Netanyahu stressed that Trump’s firm stance against Iran’s nuclear enrichment program and the billions of dollars previously provided to Tehran under the “fake agreement” made him a primary target. Netanyahu also revealed that he himself has been targeted by Iran, citing a missile strike that nearly hit his home, underscoring the high stakes in the escalating conflict.

The Israeli Prime Minister outlined the existential threat his country faces from Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs. He described Iran’s efforts to rapidly expand its missile arsenal to tens of thousands over the coming decades, which poses a severe threat to Israel’s security. Netanyahu insisted that Israel had no choice but to launch preemptive strikes in what he called “Operation Rising Lion,” one of the largest military operations in history.

Despite Iranian missile retaliation, Israel's defenses have intercepted many attacks, but the threat remains imminent. Netanyahu conveyed his belief that negotiations with Iran are futile and affirmed Israel’s readiness to take whatever measures are necessary to neutralize the nuclear and missile threats.

Addressing the Iranian people, Netanyahu highlighted their decades of oppression under the current regime and reiterated that Israel’s actions are aimed at protecting not only itself but global security. The ongoing conflict underscores the fragile and dangerous dynamics in the Middle East, with significant implications for international peace and security.
