Nita Ambani arrived at Manish Malhotra’s annual Diwali party in a fuchsia satin saree designed by the host. Malhotra shared details of the outfit on Instagram, highlighting the fine gold lacework and multicoloured Swarovski embellishments on the drape. The satin gave the bright pink fabric a sheen, while the gold detailing framed the saree’s edges.

The blouse carried the crystal work through to the back, where multicoloured Swarovski stones created a jewelled finish. Fuchsia also appeared elsewhere at the party. Madhuri Dixit wore a satin saree set in the same shade, styled with a corset top.

Ambani paired the saree with sculptural ear cuffs, a chunky bracelet and a ring that gave the impression of three bands stacked together. The bracelet and ring added detail at the wrist and hand, while the ear cuffs framed her face. The jewellery echoed the sparkle of the crystal blouse without taking attention away from the fuchsia drape.

The Mumbai gathering drew several Bollywood guests, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kajol, Ananya Panday, Disha Patani and Raveena Tandon.

The handcrafted handbag came from Ambani’s personal collection and drew on the Pichwai painting tradition. Its exterior featured handmade enamelled lotus motifs set with diamonds. Pearls and zari lined the interior, carrying the decorative work into parts of the bag that were less visible. The lotus design gave the outfit a distinct detail alongside the saree’s gold lace and crystal work.
