According to Sharmila, Jagan’s recent visits to Andhra Pradesh appear to be limited to occasions related to his party activities. She claimed that the former chief minister usually visits the state only when senior leaders of his party are released from jail or when there are events associated with the YSR Congress Party. Her comments have quickly become a talking point in political circles across the state.

Sharmila’s criticism came while she was responding to questions about the alleged milk adulteration issue reported in Rajahmundry. Referring to the controversy, she expressed concern that the issue had reportedly been ongoing for several years but had not received adequate attention.

During her remarks, Sharmila questioned why Jagan had not reacted strongly to the incident despite the seriousness of the allegations. She claimed that the vendor involved had reportedly been supplying milk for more than a decade, including during the period when Jagan was serving as chief minister. According to her, the lack of a strong response from the former chief minister reflects what she described as a pattern of ignoring issues that affect the general public.

Sharmila further alleged that Jagan tends to respond quickly when matters involving his party members arise, while public grievances receive less attention. She also pointed out that in the past one and a half years, Jagan has not been seen participating in major public protests or demonstrations related to public issues in the state.
