Actor Karisma Kapoor paid her respects at the prayer meet of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, held in Delhi on June 22. The memorial ceremony took place at the Taj Palace Hotel and was attended by family members, including Karisma’s children Samaira and Kiaan, as well as her sister Kareena Kapoor and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan.

Karisma stood in solidarity with Priya Sachdev, Sunjay Kapur’s current wife, during the emotional ceremony. The event was marked by solemn tributes and quiet moments of reflection as friends and family came together to remember the late businessman, who passed away on June 13 after suffering a heart attack during a polo match in London. He was 53.

Earlier in the day, Karisma was seen at Mumbai's private airport with her children as they flew to Delhi. Photographs from the event showed her and her children standing beside Priya Sachdev, offering prayers together. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan were also seen at the prayer meet, respectfully greeting attendees and offering condolences.

Sunjay Kapur's funeral was previously held in Delhi, where many from the Kapoor family were present. A video that went viral shortly before the prayer meet allegedly showed the final moments of Kapur’s life, with emergency services on-site in London attempting to revive him. The memorial service served as a rare public moment that brought together members of both of Sunjay Kapur’s families in a show of unity and remembrance.
