The Hanuman Chalisa, originally composed by Sri Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th century, was written in the Awadhi language. RP Patnaik’s version, however, brings a modern touch to this sacred text by presenting it in five different languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English enabling a wider, diverse audience to engage with and sing along to the devotional song.

RP Patnaik described the process of composing and singing the Hanuman Chalisa as a “divine journey,” and added that the energy of Hanuman is immeasurable.
