Kubera Movie: King Nagarjuna Exclusive Interview

Kubera Movie: King Nagarjuna Exclusive Interview

What makes Kubera different from other movies?
Kubera has a unique story, characters, and screenplay. It takes guts to make a movie like this. It’s a multi-starrer project that explores clashes among ultra-rich, middle-class, and below-poverty line groups, which is very relevant to today’s society.

Can you tell us about your character?
I play a middle-class CBI officer torn between doing good and bad. My character has many shades and offers great scope for a subtle performance.

How was your experience working with Shekar Kammula?
His working style is very good. I didn’t ask for any changes in the script; we followed his vision. His movies balance social relevance and commercial elements well.

How is Rashmika Mandanna’s character?
Rashmika’s role is very entertaining, and she did an amazing job. Her character deals with repression and adds depth to the story.

Tell us about the music in the movie?
Devi Sri Prasad’s music is very important for this film. The songs fit perfectly in the situations and are very well composed.

Where was the movie shot?
We shot in real locations like Tirupati, Mumbai, Goa, and Bangkok. This helped bring realism to the movie.

What’s your opinion on the Pan-India movie trend?
Making Pan-India movies is tough. Not every film suits this format, but Kubera is made on a big scale to appeal pan-India.

How is the progress on Shiva 4K?
Shiva 4K is finished, but we are still working on better effects. It looks fantastic.

Any new projects coming up?
We are planning around 100 films, and one upcoming project has the working title ‘King 100’. I’m also interested in doing a film under the Sitaara banner.

All the best
Thank you.
