Ayesha Khan's Viral Interview Comment Sparks Controversy and Support

Ayesha, your recent comment about working during your menstrual cycle has stirred some reactions. Can you explain what you meant by it?
Ayesha Khan:
I simply shared the physical strain I felt during the two-day shoot for "Shararat." I was on my period, and while it wasn’t easy, I powered through the discomfort. It was more about explaining how physically demanding the shoot was. I never intended to downplay the challenges that others might face, but it seems that some people misunderstood my words.

Social media reactions have been mixed. Some have criticized your statement, saying that women across the country work in tough conditions while on their period. How do you feel about that?
Ayesha Khan:
I absolutely agree with the fact that women work hard in every field, regardless of their menstrual cycle. I have the utmost respect for all women who manage demanding jobs while balancing personal and physical challenges. My intention was only to explain my personal experience, not to compare it to the struggles faced by others.

Despite the backlash, there are fans who have defended your professionalism. How does it feel to have support from your fans?
Ayesha Khan:
I’m very grateful for the support of my fans. They understand that I was just sharing a part of my journey, and their encouragement means the world to me. It reminds me of why I keep pushing myself in my career—because of the love and respect from people who believe in me.

You’ve been featured in some hit songs in both Telugu cinema and Bollywood. What can we expect from you in the future?
Ayesha Khan:
I’m always looking for roles and opportunities that challenge me. I’ve been lucky to be part of some amazing projects, and I’m excited to continue exploring new characters and songs that resonate with audiences. There’s always something new to learn in this industry, and I’m looking forward to sharing more with my fans.
