What inspired you to start your production banner Keyuri?
I have always felt that my journey with cinema goes beyond acting. Starting Keyuri was a natural step for me to engage more deeply in filmmaking. It allows me to create stories that reflect honesty, intention, and creative integrity. I want to bridge the gap between the films I personally connect with and the films being made today.
What is the meaning behind the name Keyuri?
Keyuri represents the feminine divine and symbolizes creative energy. The word immediately resonated with me when I heard it. It feels rooted, meaningful, and universal at the same time. It perfectly reflects the kind of creative vision and emotional depth I want the production house to represent.
What kind of films do you want to produce under Keyuri?
Honesty in storytelling is the most important thing for me. I am not interested in making films just to follow trends or appeal to specific audiences. I want to produce films that are genuine, emotionally meaningful, and timeless. I admire films like Lootera, Kumbalangi Nights, Sarvam Maya, and The Lunchbox, and I would love to create stories that leave a lasting emotional impact like these films.
Why do you emphasize honesty in filmmaking?
Honesty is the foundation of meaningful cinema. A story should come from a place of truth and not be shaped to suit trends or expectations. Throughout my career, I have chosen roles based on authenticity rather than popularity. I want Keyuri to follow the same philosophy and focus on sincere storytelling.
Are you currently working on any films as a producer or actor?
I have just launched the production banner, and it took around six to seven months to establish it. There are no official film announcements yet, but I am exploring ideas and scripts. As an actor, I have taken a short break, but there are exciting projects that will be announced soon.
How can writers or filmmakers approach Keyuri with scripts?
All official updates and submission details will be shared through our website and social media platforms. We want to create an open and transparent process for collaboration in the future.
There has been confusion about your name. Can you clarify your correct name?
Yes, there has been some confusion. My first name is and has always been Nithya. My official name, as per my birth certificate, is Nithya NS. Expanding my initials or calling me by any other name is incorrect. I want people to respect and use my correct name.
What inspired the title ‘Eleven’ for the movie? The title is drawn directly from the story. It’ll make perfect sense after watching the film. It’s not just a number it has emotional and narrative significance. How confident are you about the film’s reception?

What was your experience like working on Black, White and Gray? It was a deep and layered role. I had to understand why my character made certain choices and really get into her emotional space. Were you comfortable performing bold scenes in the show? Yes, the scenes were not vulgar and were justified.
