How did the opportunity to work on Ayaa Share come about?
Sudhan Master: The opportunity came after working as an assistant choreographer on Dasara with Prem Rakshit Master. During that time, director Srikanth Odele asked me, "When are you becoming a choreographer?" He told me that if I ever did choreography, he'd offer me a song. That encouragement from Srikanth motivated me to step into choreography, and after that, I got a big opportunity with Paradise.
What was your first reaction when you were given the Ayaa Share song to choreograph?
Sudhan Master: I was thrilled! Director Srikanth had a very clear vision for this song, wanting it to be unlike anything Nani has done before. He wanted the song to take his performance to the next level, and I had to rise to the occasion to meet his expectations.
How did you approach choreographing this song?
Sudhan Master: For this song, my main focus was to showcase Nani in a never-before-seen light. The song had to highlight his character, and every movement had to reflect that. We worked hard on the "hook step," which turned out to be one of the most talked-about moments in the song. Nani was extremely dedicated, practicing for hours despite having a shoulder injury, which made me respect him even more.
How was it working with Nani again after Dasara?
Sudhan Master: Working with Nani again was a joy. He brings something new to every film, constantly experimenting with his roles. I respect his willingness to try new things. I had always hoped to choreograph a song for him, and this was my chance to do that. He puts in a lot of hard work, and that commitment is visible on screen.
What challenges did you face while choreographing for Paradise?
Sudhan Master: As a new choreographer, working on such a big project was definitely stressful. There was a lot of pressure, but director Srikanth's trust in me was a big boost. My team also supported me a lot, and that helped me navigate through the challenges. Seeing the song’s success and the response from the audience has been incredibly rewarding.
Can you tell us a bit about Nani's character in this song?
Sudhan Master: Nani’s character in Paradise is very different from what we've seen before. He's presented in a rugged, raw manner. The choreography needed to reflect that. One memorable step is the "jadda step," which was created specifically to fit his character. It added so much personality to the scene, and the audience is enjoying it immensely.
What can audiences expect from Paradise?
Sudhan Master: Audiences will see a completely new version of Nani in Paradise. It’s going to be a visual treat. Director Srikanth’s vision is next-level, and the film’s world will feel fresh and exciting. Expect a roller-coaster of emotions, and the audience will relate to the deep connections that are explored in the story.
How do you feel about the response to Ayaa Share?
Sudhan Master: The response has been beyond my expectations. The song is trending worldwide, and I’m thrilled to see the excitement it’s generating. I’m glad people are enjoying the hard work we put into it. It’s very fulfilling to see something I choreographed connect with the audience so deeply.
All the best,
Thank You.
