Sri Vishnu’s #Single Set to Entertain – An Exclusive Interview

What can audiences expect from #Single?
Sri Vishnu: This is a laugh-riot from start to finish. The screenplay and story are fresh, with a beautiful love angle. It’s a clean entertainer for both youngsters and families.

How does it feel working with Geetha Arts for the first time?
Sri Vishnu: It’s a dream come true. I always wanted to work with Geetha Arts. This genre suits me, and doing it under such a banner gives me immense confidence.

Tell us about your experience with director Karthik Raju.
Sri Vishnu: We've had a two-year journey together. He’s a passionate storyteller, and working with this team was joyful. The final product exceeded my expectations.

Why is the film titled #Single despite having two heroines?
Sri Vishnu: That’s the twist! The climax is unique and unexpected. My character, Kishore’s role, and the heroines all add layers of fun. The audience will love it.

Is Hyderabad shown differently in this film?
Sri Vishnu: Absolutely. Hyderabad hasn’t been portrayed like this in a long time. The visuals are refreshing and new, thanks to Vel Raj’s cinematography.

What role does Vennela Kishore play?
Sri Vishnu: Without either of our roles, the film wouldn’t exist. Once Kishore joined, we knew the project was going to be a success.

You have a unique dialogue delivery. How do you prepare for it?
Sri Vishnu: I keep young audiences in mind. They love my diction, so I practice it well to enhance the humor and make it relatable.

How did the producers support this project?
Sri Vishnu: They made the entire process very comfortable. Their experience helped us through both shooting and post-production phases smoothly.

How is your body language different in #Single?
Sri Vishnu: Since it’s a love story with freshness, the body language naturally evolved to suit the tone. It’s different from anything I’ve done before.

Thoughts on the music and visuals?
Sri Vishnu: Vishal Chandrashekhar gave us high-energy songs and innovative sound. Vel Raj’s visuals are stunning and elevate Hyderabad beautifully on screen.

How do you deal with style fatigue and prepare for future roles?
Sri Vishnu: I’ve never repeated a boring role in 16 years. I'm evolving with the industry and ready for the change the next generation is bringing.

What’s your reflection on the Swag movie reception?
Sri Vishnu: People expected full comedy, but it had different content. Some were confused, but others appreciated the experiment. Every attempt is a learning.

What are your upcoming projects?
Sri Vishnu: I'm doing a thriller titled Mrityunjaya, a family entertainer, and another film set in a forest backdrop.
