Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi: Director Pradeep Discusses Vijayashanti & Emotional Core in Interview

Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi: Director Pradeep Discusses Vijayashanti & Emotional Core in Interview

How did the idea of Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi originate and how was Kalyan Ram approached?
The producers initially wanted to do a mass film with Kalyan Ram. After building his character, I envisioned a powerful mother role and thought of the name Vyjayanthi. Kalyan Ram said the film should only proceed if Vijayashanti agrees. She did, after a few small suggestions to the script.

What is the central conflict in the film?
The ideological difference between the mother and son. Both characters strongly believe in their own values, and this clash drives the emotional and dramatic tension.

How was Vijayashanti’s performance, especially in the action sequences?
Remarkable. She agreed to do action scenes from the start. In one intense forest sequence, she remained in the mud for hours despite getting a fever. Her performance gave me goosebumps in many scenes.

Why was there a gap after your previous film, Raja Cheyyi Vesthe?
I worked on several projects that didn’t materialize due to various reasons. Some were planned with big banners and stars. Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi came together as a complete and compelling project.

What can you tell us about the climax of the film?
The climax is deeply emotional. It revolves around the sacrifices one can make for a mother, and audiences will find it touching and powerful.

How is the business and buzz for the film so far?
Fantastic. The buzz is very strong, and our producers are extremely happy with the response to the teaser, trailer, and songs.

How did Jr. NTR react to the film?
He watched the film and said with full confidence that Kalyan Ram will impress everyone and “raise collars” with his performance.

What kind of role does Sai Manjrekar play in the movie?
She plays a light-hearted, breezy character that balances the otherwise serious tone of the film. Her role brings warmth and freshness.

How many fight sequences are there and who choreographed them?
There are major fights designed by masters like Prithvi, Ramakrishna, Peter Hein, and Raghuvaran. From hero intros to climax, the action is solid and well-crafted.

How was the support from the producers?
Outstanding. They didn’t compromise anywhere. They provided full support in terms of budget, location, and execution.

What about Ajaneesh’s music and re-recording?
Two songs are already hits. The background score is at another level. Every major character has a unique theme, including the villain.

What is Kalyan Ram’s biggest strength according to you?
His emotional depth. He portrays emotional scenes with great intensity and sincerity.

What’s the core emotion of the film?
It’s about celebrating parents. While they celebrate our birthdays, we rarely celebrate theirs. That thought shaped the emotional spine of the film.

What can Kalyan Ram and NTR fans expect from the movie?
Strong emotions, powerful performances, and a message that resonates. It’s a film made for both mass and family audiences.

What is your biggest strength as a director?
Emotion. I focus on stories that touch the heart, and my upcoming projects will also carry that signature emotional depth.

Samantha Interview: Meditation Helped Her Stay Focused On Set

On a busy film set where everything moves fast, it gave me a few minutes of stillness. That small pause helped me reset my thoughts, reduce stress, and return to work with better clarity. It wasn’t about escaping pressure, but about handling it better. What made this project more demanding compared to your earlier films? The biggest difference was the dual
