Amidst much confusion, Mahesh to resume Guntur Karam

Guntur Karam, a collaborative project that marks the coming together of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram has been in the news for all the wrong reason of late.

There are several reports that Pooja Hegde has been axed from the film and the makers instead promoted Sree Leela for the role.

Now, there are reports that young actress Meenakshi Chaudhary could be roped in to play the second female lead role in the film which was initially designated for Sree Leela. All these changes mean that there will be obvious changes in the script.

Amidst so much confusion and high drama, Mahesh Babu is set to resume shooting for the film now. The new schedule commenced at a specially erected house set in Hyderabad today.

The idea is to complete Guntur Karam's shoot at a rapid pace in order to make sure that the film is indeed lined up for release next Sankranthi season, as announced by the makers initially..
