In the case of Tiger 3, we believed that launching it on Laxmi Puja day — traditionally considered the weakest day for a film release — would ultimately benefit the film,” said Malhotra. Given the success of Tiger 3, Salman Khan’s decision to release Sikandar on a Sunday appears to be a calculated move. By aligning the release with Eid celebrations, the makers are potentially tapping into an extended holiday period that may amplify the film’s box office performance.
